Joao Zeferino has been forced to withdraw from Professional Fighters League 10 this coming Saturday with an injury.
Zeferino was expected to be part of the welterweight tournament, which will see the winner receive $1 million.
“Unfortunately I wont be fighting this weekend in the Professional Fighters League playoffs due to injury,” he wrote. “I’m upset because I was completely ready to win, but at the same time happy because I had 2 great wins in 6 weeks.
I want to thank PFL and all of my fans. I’ll be back even better.”
