Well, if the UFC was worried about drumming up headlines for Saturday’s UFC 223 card, they don’t have to be concerned anymore.
Conor McGregor stormed inside the Barclays Center Thursday afternoon following media day looking for Khabib Nurmagomedov. Earlier this week, Nurmagomedov and his camp confronted Artem Lobov – a close friend of McGregor – in the fighter hotel.
Seeing Lobov alone, McGregor embarked on a quick trip over the Brooklyn and decided to crash the event.
What ensued will be talked about for years to come, as the “Notorious” one and his team – including Lobov – found one of the vans transporting fighters and shattered a window, seriously injuring Michael Chiesa and almost hitting strawweight champion Rose Namajunas.
UFC president Dana White gave his thoughts on the matter, and now, other fighters are sounding off via social media:
After the Jon Jones hit and run incident, Conor/Nate can throwing debacle, Jones/DC media fight, Lombard and a few other late punches, and now the new Conor chaos, I can’t help but think..”what does Paul Daley think of all of this?”
