Dustin Poirier has been calling on the UFC to get the promotion’s 155 division moving, and now “The Diamond’s” made some demands.
On Tuesday it was announced that Khabib Nurmagomedov has been suspended by the Nevada Commission for nine months and fined $500K, as a result of his post-fight actions at UFC 229. Although Khabib could have that suspension reduced to six months, if he participates in an anti-bullying announcement, it’s been reported he may sit out until November.
Well, clearly Poirier wants to get things going on his end, as recently the dangerous fighter tweeted out these comments:
It's gotta be Tony or Conor or we redo my contract. Otherwise I'm not fighting. This company is #1 bullshit

At this point if you dont respect the body of work I put in. I don't respect you.

Hard to fault Poirier here. After all, he’s gone 8-1, with 1 no-contest in his last 10 fights, and he’s sitting in the #3 spot at 155. So, if the UFC does move forward with Donald Cerrone – Conor McGregor, and if Khabib does intend to sit out until November, Ferguson – Poirier sounds about right.
