Dana White went after referee Kerry Hatley for his decision to allow the Jalin Turner vs. Bobby Green bout to go on as long as it did.
And while Hatley told White he regrets her decision, that did not keep the UFC CEO from talking more about it during the post-fight press conference for UFC Austin Saturday night.
(It was) one of the worst I’ve ever seen,” White said (thanks to MMA Junkie for the quotes). “The difference is we’ve had some res say some dumb (expletive) in the past, like, ‘I allowed her to be a warrior,’ and goofy (expletive) like that.
“He knows he made a mistake and does not feel good about it, so it’s unfortunate.”
Turner earned one of the biggest wins of his career by stopping Green in the co-main event live on ESPN. The victory marked the seventh of his UFC career and 14th overall in 21 fights, halting the climb of Green in the process.
White added that it was “definitely a bad stoppage, very bad,” despite the fact that Green did walk out of the Octagon on his own power.
