Dana White has made his political affiliations very clear. According to the UFC CEO, one of the company’s sponsors apparently has not been paying attention.

While appearing on comedian Theo Von’s “This Past Weekend” podcast, Dana White said that he was asked by the unnamed sponsor to remove a social media post featuring former president Donald Trump. White claims to have responded in a profane and direct manner that feels on brand for the outspoken promoter.

“I posted a video for Trump on my personal social media and one of our big sponsors called and said, ‘Take that down.’ You know what I said? Go f*** yourself. You vote for whoever you want to vote for and I’ll vote for whoever I want to vote for. That’s how this works. I don’t even care who you’re voting for. It’s none of my f***ing business. F*** you. Don’t ever f***ing call me and tell me who to vote for.”

Dana White’s friendship with Trump predates the “Apprentice” host political ambitions and has been well documented. Beyond lending his support to Trump’s 2016 and 2020 election campaigns by speaking at the Republican National Convention, the UFC also released a documentary commemorating the future commander-in-chief welcoming the promotion’s first sanctioned event under the unified rules at his Atlantic City casino.

Trump, who was in New York City while being tried for fraud in civil court, was escorted by Dana White to a cage-side seat at UFC 295 this past weekend alongside former Fox News personality Tucker Carlson and musician Kid Rock.

Dana White Responds to Bud Light Criticism

That was not only the time that the conversation centered around corporate sponsorships. Dana White also addressed the backlash for signing a new deal with Anheuser Busch that reinstalled Bud Light as the UFC’s official beer.

“It’s like this whole Bud Light deal. People are talking s*** now, sellout and all this. Believe me, I’m the furthest f***ing thing from a sellout. Bud Light is the right move for me. They’re exactly who I want to be with right now and we are very aligned as far as core values go.”

Bud Light has been at the center of controversy and conservative boycotts after hiring Dylan Mulvaney, a transgender TikTok celebrity, for a social media marketing campaign.

His message to the section of the fan base that felt slighted by the UFC and Bud Light reuniting was eerily similar to what he claims to have told the aforementioned sponsor. “Those are you that are hardcore, some of you are fanatical on this s***. You guys think you’re all looking for an apology. I’m not going to f***ing apologize to you,” White said.

Peloton Catching Strays

Dana White also saved enough venom for Peloton, an exercise equipment brand that once sponsored Von’s show.

After Von alleged that the fitness company threatened to withdraw their support after the comedian hosted independent presidential candidate Robert Kennedy Jr, White called CEO Barry McCarthy a “f***ing dork” who “sells stationary bikes for a living.” He then promised to remove all Peloton products out of UFC facilities.
