Conor McGregor has taken some verbal pokes at former opponent, Max Holloway in recent months. But following the latter’s withdrawal from UFC 226, the Irish star has let the featherweight champ know his thoughts are with him.
Holloway has been removed from the card’s co-main event with Brian Ortega, as a result of being hospitalized with concussion like symptoms. Following the news of Holloway’s withdrawal, McGregor tweeted out this:
My thoughts and my respect are with 145lb World Champion Max ‘Blessed’ Holloway.

The last man to defeat Holloway is McGregor, who earned a decision win over him back in 2013.
UFC 226 is taking place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
