Moderately good fighter but dismal trash-talker Colby Covington won the UFC interim welterweight belt, and since he wants to take some time off to catch his breath, the UFC is rendering that belt null and void when real champ Tyron Woodley fights Darren Till. Which is whatever – if you hold stock in an interim belt these days, you’re a fool.
But Covington has managed to make the most of his worthless piece of gold-painted tin and simulated leather: He cashed it on for a photo op with President Donald Trump.
I guess this makes President Trump the interim welterweight champ now?
