Bellator 292: Usman Nurmagomedov Retires Benson Henderson

Benson Henderson announced his retirement and Usman Nurmagomedov remained unbeaten at Bellator 292.

Nurmagomedov successfully defended his lightweight title and advanced in the Bellator Lightweight World Grand Prix, scoring a victory over Henderson in the main event.

The card took place from the SAP Center in San Jose, 17 years to the day that Bellator President Scott Coker promoted the first sanctioned MMA event in California.

In the co-main event, Alexander Shabliy joined Nurmagomedov in the semifinals of the grand prix with a victory over Tofiq Musayev.

Linton Vassell and Michael Page each picked up victories on the main card.
