Bellator 288 Results: Vadim Nemkov, Usman Nurmagomedov Win

Vadim Nemkov defended and Usman Nurmagomedov claimed a title at Bellator 288 Friday night.

In the main event from Chicago live on Showtime, Nemkov bested Corey Anderson via decision to retain his light heavyweight crown. All three judges scored it in favor of Nemkov, as he improved to 16-2 with a no-contest.

Nurmagomedov pushed his unbeaten mark to 15-0 with a one-sided win over Patricky Pitbull, sweeping all three scorecards and all five rounds.

Timur Khizriev stunned Daniel Weichel, Daniel James finished Tyrell Fortune and Levan Chokheli topped Roman Faraldo. Weichel, Fortune and Faraldo were all ranked in the Top-10 at their respective weights.
