Gegard Mousasi did just enough on all three scorecards Thursday night to top Douglas Lima at Bellator 250.
With the win, Mousasi again laid claim to the middleweight title, which had been up for grabs live on CBS Sports Network and DAZN.
Lima was attempting to become a two-division champion as he currently holds the welterweight title.
In the co-main event, Henry Corrales bested Brandon Girtz via split decision.
The card lost two key bouts due to positive COVID-19 tests by Nick Newell and Veta Arteaga. Newell was scheduled to meet Zachary Zane and Arteaga was set to face Desiree Yanez.
Among the prelim winners was Jake Hager, as the part-time fighter/part-time pro wrestler topped Brandon Calton by split decision.
