Keyshawn Davis had no issue with taking Friday’s bout vs. Gustavo Lemos even after Lemos came in six-plus pounds over the 155-pound limit. And that’s likely because the unbeaten Davis knew he had things well in control.

Davis earned a second round finish vs. Lemos in the main event live on ESPN+ from Norwalk, Virginia. With the win, he improved to 12-0 with eight finishes. The loss sent Lemos to his first defeat in 30 fights.

The victory should put Davis on track for a future matchup with reigning WBC champion Denys Berinchyk. Earlier this year, Berinchyk upset Emanuel Navarrete for the vacant title. However, he also made it known he wants a certain megastar as well.

In the co-main event for the night, former Olympian Troy Isley kept his perfect record intact with a 10-round decision over Tyler Howard. Despite not being able to put Howard away, Isley had little trouble improving to 14-0 overall. Howard fell to 20-2 with the loss.

Abduallah Mason earned his fifth finish of the calendar year, knocking out Yohan Vasquez. One of the more active boxers in the world, Mason, Top Rank’s most valuable prospect, now sits at 16-0. Of those 16 wins, 14 have been finishes. Vasquez fell to 26-6 in defeat.

Kelvin Davis and Keon Davis, both brothers of Keyshawn Davis, also picked up wins.
