Terence Crawford has gone scorched earth on Teofimo Lopez after “The Takeover’s” recent controversial remarks.
Crawford and Lopez were in attendance at Wembley Stadium for the big Daniel Dubois vs. Anthony Joshua fight last month. Things got testy between the two and nearly got physical before the champions were separated. This came off the heels of Lopez taking aim at both Crawford and Gervonta “Tank” Davis in a way that had many fans up in arms.

Recently, Lopez was asked if he’d rather fight Crawford or “Tank” first. His response was, “Whichever monkey wants to get the banana.” Lopez followed up by saying both Crawford and Davis call themselves gorillas, but he’s a lion who will eat them.
Fans were furious online, believing Lopez’s comment was racist. Crawford caught wind of the remark and he verbally trashed Lopez.
Terence Crawford Slams Teofimo Lopez & His Father
During a chat with Bernie Tha Boxer, Terence Crawford made it clear he is not a fan of how Teofimo Lopez is trying to get a boxing match with him.
“Teo, he’s a b****,” Crawford said. “It’s a way that you go about getting a fight. As a man, you not about to disrespect me because I’m not disrespecting you as a man. When I call somebody out, I never disrespected Spence when I called Spence out, I never disrespected Canelo when I called Canelo out. I always acknowledged them, I always acknowledged their skills. I’m a fan of Spence still, I’m a fan of Canelo still and it was that.”
Crawford then recalled running into Lopez and his father, which led to the heated exchange during the Dubois vs. Joshua event.
“This little motherf***** just disrespectful,” Crawford said. “I seen him at the fight. He look at me and he’s playing because he thinks everything’s a game, but he don’t understand that I would beat the f*** out of him and his daddy.”
“Bud” mentioned not appreciating Lopez’s father getting too handsy with his shoulder on camera. He admitted threatening both him and his son before all parties were separated.
