According to a report, Ryan Garcia has tested positive for the banned substance Ostarine.

Dan Rafael reports that Garcia’s Voluntary Anti-Doping Association test has come back positive. The test was given in relation to the recent Devin Haney fight, which Garcia won by a surprising decision.

Garcia has 10 days to request his B-sample be tested.

Since news of the result has become public, Garcia has taken to social media to declare his innocence.

“It’s the weirdest (expletive) ever,” Garcia said during a live broadcast (thanks to Yahoo! Sports for the quotes). “Supposedly they had it already, then they release it after I win? It makes no sense. I tested the day of the fight, all of the sudden it came out.

“Bro, somebody paying somebody. This is definitely fake news.”

As he has become known to do, Garcia continued to push the boundary on social media.

Devin Haney’s father told Sports Illustrated that Garcia was “scared” to face his son on a level playing field.

“You trying to hurt my baby,” he said. “We played it fair. We didn’t do it like that. (Expletive) boxing, this is some (expletive).

“I cam from the streets. You scared of Devin on a level playing field. I feel (expletive) up over this.”

Following the result, there was talk of an immediate rematch, but Garcia declined. Now, things are definitely looking like that will not take place.
