The desire to see Nate Diaz and Jorge Masvidal square off inside the boxing ring must not be very high.
Fanmio, who is distributing the pay-per-view card on July 6, has slashed prices. What was once set at $79.99 is now available for $49.99.
And those who subscribe to UFC Fight Pass and watch it there.
Diaz vs. Masvidal will take place from the Honda Center in Anaheim. It serves as a rematch from a bout won by Masvidal in the UFC.
“We’re excited to be working with UFC Fight Pass to provide Diaz vs. Masvidal to the fans on July 6. Now fans can see the event on Fanmio and on UFC Fight Pass pay-per-view,” said Fanmio CEO Solomon Engel (thanks to MMA Mania for the quotes). “UFC Fight Pass has a long-standing and significant history in providing combat sports fans with well-tuned events.
“We welcome their engagement and commitment to Diaz vs. Masvidal and we look forward to a very successful event that night.”
Along with that 10-round fight, former champion Daniel Jacobs takes on Shane Mosley Jr. and Anthony Pettis will be in action.
Nate Diaz-Jorge Masvidal Package Includes Plenty
Those who purchase the general pay-per-view ticket will receive some added items. They not only get the event, but an “exciting full main card of fights” and a chance to win signed boxing gloves by Diaz and Masvidal.
And now, an exclusive t-shirt will be included with each purchase.
The event was originally scheduled for June 1, but that coincided with UFC 302. Officials pushed it back to this weekend after the Fourth of July.
So, with the price drop, will you now purchase Diaz vs. Masvidal? Or maybe had you already laid down your hard-earned money?
