We know we are going to get a rematch between light heavyweight champion Artur Beterbiev and Dmitry Bivol. What we do not know yet is all the official details.
Reports started circulating that the two would square off on February 22 from Saudi Arabia during Riyadh Season. The fight could headline or possibly serve as the co-main event to another card.

Well, promoter Eddie Hearn tells Pro Boxing Fans that no rematch is official yet. He did confirm that discussions are ongoing between all sides involved.
“Nothing has been signed and agreed upon regarding the rematch,” Hearn said. “Of course, we know His Excellency called for that rematch in the ring. There have been discussions. Nothing confirmed yet, and when it is, I’m sure he’ll make an announcement.”
Beterbiev scored a majority decision over Bivol back in October. The current undisputed light heavyweight champion is 21-0 with all but his victory over Bivol being scored a knockout.
Bivol, meanwhile, suffered his first loss in 24 bouts that night. He is a former WBA light heavyweight champion.
If the fight does move forward with the February date, it joins a stacked event. Daniel Dubois will square off with Joseph Parker, Jaron Ennis is set to fight Vergil Ortiz Jr. and Shakur Stevenson will battle Floyd Schofield.
Dubois will be defending his IBF heavyweight title against Parker, a former WBO champion. Both Ennis and Ortiz sport unbeaten records.
Stevenson, meanwhile, is the current WBC lightweight champion and would be putting his belt on the line vs. Schofield. Another WBC title fight pitting middleweight champion Carlos Adames vs. Hamzah Sheeraz is rumored for the event.
