MVP Promotions has announced a new date for the highly anticipated Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul fight, and unfortunately, it will not be happening at any point this summer.
While some might view it as a “freak show” fight, there is a lot of interest in the planned scrap between the legendary heavyweight and the YouTuber-turned-combat sports disruptor. However, the excitement for the bout was put on pause last week when it was revealed that the bout would be postponed after the 57-year-old had a health scare related to an ulcer.

In the announcement about the fight being postponed, MVP claimed they would reveal a new fight date today. Well, they have and unfortunately the matchup has been pushed back to the end of the year. Mike Tyson vs. Jake Paul will now take place on Friday, November 15th instead of the originally planned date of Saturday, July 20.
“Our team has worked diligently with all parties involved to reschedule this monumental fight to a date that ensures both Jake Paul and Mike Tyson are fully prepared, with equal training time, as well as allowing us to keep the event at AT&T Stadium in the midst of the Cowboys season.
“We appreciate the outstanding dedication, collaboration, and flexibility of our partners at Netflix and AT&T Stadium. Paul vs. Tyson is the most cross-generational sporting event in history, and we are committed to providing fans worldwide with this unforgettable right of boxing, live globally on Netflix.”
– Statement from MVP co-founder Nakisa Bidarian
Tyson also revealed in the statement he is expected to return to training soon.
