If you thought Mike Tyson looked off during his recent bout with Jake Paul, you are actually right. Tyson admitted to not remembering much of the bout last month that aired live on Netflix recently.
“I don’t remember the fight that much,” Tyson told FOX Sports Radio (thanks to MMA Mania for the quotes). “I kind of blanked out. The first round and Jake is doing some kind of (pretending to bow) and that’s the last thing I remember.”

Tyson lost the bout in his return to the boxing ring via decision to Paul. The fight headlined the night of action from AT&T Stadium just outside of Dallas, Texas.
“My body was really sore,” Tyson said. “Chest, my stomach was really sore. The day after I woke up and said to my wife, ‘Why did I do that?’ I just don’t know what the hell was going on.”
The 58-year-old Tyson was competing for the first time since 2005. He was seeking his first win inside the ring since 2003 that night vs. Paul, the YouTuber-turned-boxer.
Despite the age difference and technical issues, the fight was a commercial success. It generated one of the largest gates for combat sports and was watched by 65 million via Netflix.
Tyson had been forced to pull out of a scheduled July meeting with Paul. While training for the bout, he suffered an ulcer flare-up that nearly derailed his plans while traveling.
