During a new edition of the podcast he co-hosts, ranked UFC lightweight Renato Moicano surprisingly took time to mock the looks of teenage MMA prospect Raul Rosas Jr.

Many young MMA stars have made their way to the Octagon on the back of some serious hype on the regional circuit. However, rarely does a fighter prove talented enough to make their way to the top promotion in the sport before they are legally able to drink alcohol. Yet that is exactly what bantamweight Raul Rosas Jr. did in 2022.

After earning an impressive victory during a Week 9 edition of Dana White’s Contender Series, the then 17-year-old landed a contract with the company. In four appearances in the fabled Octagon since, he has scored three wins, all finishes, including a UFC Louisville victory over “The Ultimate Fighter” winner Ricky Turcios.

Along with being a rare teenager in the company, Rosas Jr. has a unique look and way of talking that certainly stands out, but has garnered attention from some of the meaner members of society. And unfortunately, UFC veteran Renato Moicano added himself to that group during a recent episode of the “Show Me the Money” podcast that he co-hosts.

“I have to point out that this is one of the ugliest mother f****** that I’ve ever seen,” Moicano said while fellow hosts Gilbert Burns — another UFC veteran — and Matt Tanner laughed. “Put this frame, my brothers. Stop the sound. Look at that. This guy, he’s unbelievable ugly, my brothers.”

While Rosas Jr. is unlikely to land any leading man roles in film or television, it is still surprising for the 15-fight UFC veteran to take a shot at a fellow member of the roster who is only 19 years old. The podcast often aims to be funny but this may have been one time where they stepped over the line to target someone susceptible to taking public ridicule poorly because of their young age.
