More: Cody Rhodes Has One WrestleMania Regret

Right out of the chute, I think we can all admit that both Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes are among the top WWE Superstars. Both have become singles acts that people are paying to see. Rhodes was, per the story line, instrumental in getting Jey Uso on RAW. And, once he landed on the red brand, Uso has been red hot. Ever since he returned, one of the top merch movers in WWE has been Rhodes. Winning the title finally didn’t hurt either. But what if someone else surpassed his spot near the top of the chart?

To be fair, the top spots are CM Punk’s. The prodigal son returned at the tail end of 2023. While he’s been injured and out more than he’s been healthy and wrestling, fans love having him back. As such, his shirts have been hot. Right behind him has been Cody Rhodes, but that might have changed last month. Wrestlenomics is known for a deeper analysis of the business, and now is no different. They’ve gotten eyes on some sales figures early. It’s not been confirmed or fully vetted to be 100% correct. However, based on what they’ve seen and reported, it appears as though WWE has a new number two merchandise mover. Meaning Jey Uso, in the month of May, may have outsold a WWE champion.
