When Ronda Rousey left the UFC and joined WWE, it felt like a natural fit. She was thrusted into top storylines and found major success. Then, after a taking a hiatus, Rousey returned to WWE but things felt different. She no longer had that allure and fans seemed tired of the character. Whether heel of face, it seemed like Rosuey no longer wanted to part of WWE. She worked with, and then opposite, Shayna Baszler, before leaving.

The last WWE appearance for Rousey was SummerSlam 2023, where she lost to Baszler. They were booked in a MMA rules match. Rousey lost after being choked unconscious. Those seven minutes were the end of her WWE run and she does not feel interested in a return.

In her autobiography, Our Fight, Rousey went over a conversation with Triple H where she vented about being over WWE. “Listen, I told you I’d be here until SummerSlam,” wrote Rousey. “And I’m a woman of my word, but I’m done after this. All I wanted when I got into this business was to tag with Shayna, have her turn on me, then put her over before I leave. We have until SummerSlam to make that happen. After that, I’m done being associated with this minimum effort lazy-a— s— show. I could feel my lip quivering, I was so worked up it took everything I had to hold back tears. He shook his head like someone who silently shared my frustration.”

Since leaving WWE, Rousey worked for Ring Of Honor for about a minute and has been on the Indy scene. Clearly, based off her comments, she is not happy with WWE or UFC. And, she does not seem to be making friends with her latest remarks. If you are not into it anymore, then please move to something else. So, was Ronda Rousey justified in slamming Triple H?
