Lerone Murphy has arrived on the big stage
Edson Barboza entered the main event with Lerone Murphy Saturday night as the man known for some spectacular finishes. Murphy, though, wasn’t scared to exchange.
Over the course of 25 minutes and five rounds of featherweight action, Murphy dominated Barboza. In the end, he was awarded a one-sided decision to remain unbeaten over 15 pro fights.
Murphy has now won his last six UFC fights since a draw with Zubaira Tukhugov back in 2019 in his debut. Twice he has earned fight-night bonuses including a “Fight of the Night” with Barboza.
In the co-main event, Khaos Williams lived up to his name. Williams knocked out Carlston Harris in just 90 seconds in their welterweight showdown.
