McGregor is part of the remake of “Road House,” which is set to stream on Amazon Prime beginning March 21.

Along with “Notorious,” the film features Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead role. The two are paired up throughout the film, with Gyllenhaal playing an ex-UFC fighter-turned-bouncer.

Critics have been quick to praise McGregor for his acting chops.

IGN, an entertainment site, described McGregor as someone who “steals the show by playing someone so deranged he trades his Ferrari for a driving-school car.”

Variety film critic Owen Gleiberman called his performance “stunning.”

“Bearded and barrel-chested, with gleaming white teeth, he makes Knox move like a gorilla,” Gleiberman said. “The exuberance of his homicidal fury could be out of a ‘Mad Max’ film.”

Conor McGregor Could Have Hollywood Career

Much like the world-famous Arnold Schwarzenegger, McGregor could transition nicely to Hollywood.

He has a known moniker and carries himself with plenty of confidence. McGregor also made it known he handled all of his own stunts during filming.

As for his UFC career, McGregor is still expected to meet Michael Chandler upon his decision to return to action.

Schwarzenegger would go from being a bodybuilder to one of the biggest movie stars of his generation.
