ONE Results: Roman Kryklia Claims Inaugural Muay Thai Title

ONE Results

At the latest ONE Results, ONE Championship crowned a heavyweight Muay Thai champion. Roman Kryklia stopped Alex Roberts to claim the title live on Prime Video.

ONE Fight Night 17 was the first for the promotion to feature all Muay Thai bouts. It took place from Bangkok, Thailand and aired live during primetime in the United States.

The reigning light heavyweight kickboxing champion, Kryklia added a second title in convincing fashion. The Ukrainian superstar wasted no time asserting dominance in the first round, showcasing his strength by dropping Roberts with a powerful right straight.

Although Roberts managed to beat the count by displaying impressive resilience, “The Viking” was unprepared for what awaited him in the second round. Kryklia methodically walked down the Australian, landing a right hand before flooring his opponent with a precise left hook.

In the co-main event, Jo Nattawut scored a decision victory over Luke Lessei.

Other winners included Jacob Smith, Denis Puric and Mohamed Younes Rabah.
