UFC will return to Texas this December with lightweights Beneil Dariush and Arman Tsarukyan in the main event. The card takes place December 2 from the Moody Center in Austin. The main card airs live on ESPN and ESPN+ following prelims on ESPN+.

UFC Sets December Event For Austin, Texas

Lightweight contenders Beneil Dariush and Arman Tsarukyan will headline the UFC’s official return to Texas in December.

Set for December 2 from the Moody Center in Austin, the main card airs live on ESPN and streams on ESPN+ beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Prelims start the night at 4 p.m. ET and stream exclusively on ESPN+.

Dariush has scored eight wins over his last nine fights to improve to 22-5 in his career. That run includes victories over Tony Ferguson, Mateusz Gamrot and Drew Dober. Tsarukyan owns a record of 20-3 and has finished Joel Alvarez, Joaquim Silva and Christos Giagos since his arrival.

Along with that bout, Bobby Green looks for another landmark win when he takes on New Zealand’s own Dan Hooker. Green finished Grant Dawson just a month ago in the main event for his 31st career win. Hooker, meanwhile, is 23-12 and holds notable victories over Paul Felder, Gilbert Burns and Jim Miller.

UFC Texas Event Also Includes Rob Font, Kelvin Gastelum, Miesha Tate

Among those set for action include former champion Miesha Tate, former title contender Kelvin Gastelum and Rob Font.

Font will take on former UFC flyweight champion Deiveson Figueiredo in the bantamweight ranks.

  • UFC Hall of Famer Clay Guida (38-20, fighting out of Johnsburg, Ill.) plans to start another long win streak against Joaquim Silva (12-5, fighting out of Curitiba, Brazil) at lightweight
  • No. 11 ranked light heavyweight contender Khalil Rountree Jr. (13-5 1 NC, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nev.) aims to make a statement against undefeated No. 12 ranked Azamat Murzakanov (13-0, fighting out of Fairfield, N.J. by way of Nalchik, Russia)
  • Punahele Soriano (9-3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nev.) and Dustin Stoltzfus (14-5, fighting out of Lancaster, Penn.) collide in a middleweight tilt
