Dana White’s Contender Series returned for episode nine Tuesday night live on ESPN+ from the Apex in Las Vegas. Of the four fights that took place, five players were awarded future contracts including main event winner Rodolfo Bellato.

Rodolfo Bellato scored a main event victory over Murtaza Talha on Dana White’s Contender Series Tuesday night.
Episode nine of the series aired live on ESPN+ from the Apex in Las Vegas.
Bellato, a light heavyweight, was one of the five fighters to score future UFC contracts on the night. Over the last three weeks, 15 fighters in all have been rewarded.
Bellator ended the bout with Talha in the second round with a series of strikes.
Victor Hugo Silva, Jose Daniel Medina, Magomed Gadzhiyasulov and Mauricio Ruffy were also awarded future contracts.
Ruffy kicked off the evening with a third round finish over Raimond Magomedaliev at welterweight. The finish came with just 15 seconds left in the bout.
Gadzhiyasulov topped Medina at light heavyweight by decision while Silva submitted Eduardo Matias Torres in the second with a kneebar.
Episode 10 is set for next week with Torrez Finney taking on Yuri Panfervo. Other bouts include Connor Matthews vs. Jair Farias, Issa Iaskov vs. Marquel Mederos, Rickson Thai Zenidim vs. Andre Lima and Ramon Tavares vs. Cortavious Romious.
That will conclude the season of the show.
