When you talk about the Mount Rushmore of women’s mixed martial arts, not many names compare to that of Cris Cyborg.

The reigning Bellator featherweight champion puts her title on the line against Cat Zingano this Saturday night. The bout takes place at Bellator 300 live on Showtime from the Pechanga Arena in San Diego, California.

Cyborg has previously held gold in the UFC, Strikeforce and Invicta FC, while Zingano was a title challenger in the UFC.

The 38-year-old from Brazil is unbeaten since a 2018 loss to Amanda Nunes for the UFC featherweight title, running off six consecutive wins.

She defended her Bellator title last year with a decision win over Arlene Blencowe, adding to title defenses in the promotion over Sinead Kavanagh, Leslie Smith and another vs. Blencowe. Cyborg captured the belt back in 202 with a TKO finish of Julia Budd.

Her career dates back to 2005 when she lost to Erica Paes in her debut at Show Fight 2. From there, Cyborg reeled off 10 consecutive wins including over Gina Carano and Marloes Coenen.

She also topped the likes of Shayna Baszler and Hitomi Akano before a no-contest was declared in her win over Hiroko Yamanaka in 2011.

Five years would pass before the loss to Nunes, as Cyborg captured the UFC title in 2017 with a third round finish of Tonya Evinger. She defended it vs. Holly Holm and Yana Kunitskaya.

Zingano has won four in a row, all under the Bellator banner. She faced Ronda Rousey for the UFC title back in 2015, losing in 14 seconds.

Julianna Pena also bested Zingano, who holds a win over Nunes from 2014 where she finished the future two-division champion in the third round.

Zingano also downed Miesha Tate and Barb Honchak as she started her career 9-0.
