ONE Championship took place from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium Friday, as Superlek Kiatmoo9 scored a victory over Rodtang Jitumangnon in the main event.
ONE Results: Superlek Scores Super Fight Victory
In a battle of reigning champions, Superlek Kiatmoo9 downed Rodtang Jitmuangnon in the main event of ONE Fight Nights 34.
Superlek, the reigning flyweight kickboxing champion, scored the win via decision in a Muay Thai fight over Rodtang, the flyweight Muay Thai titleholder.
Both fighters constantly went after each other, throwing heat in the center from the opening round on.
“The Kicking Machine” then answered the call for round two with a sense of urgency. He turned up the pressure and fired powerful combinations at Rodtang, who was forced on the back foot.
Superlek then blasted “The Iron Man” with a furious combination in the corner, scoring a significant knockdown that turned the tide of the contest.
In the third frame, Superlek and Rodtang brought the crowd to their feet with intense action, going back and forth in the final three minutes to close the show on a high note.
In other action, Seksan Or Kwanmuang and Muangthai PK Saenchai were winners by decision.
