Jake Paul Vs. Nate Diaz Results: Pair Battle Until The Very End

Jake Paul Nate Diaz

Saturday featured Jake Paul welcoming Nate Diaz to the boxing ring, as the YouTuber-turned-fighter squared off with the former UFC title challenger. The event aired live on pay-per-view from the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Along with Paul vs. Diaz, Amanda Serrano defended her undisputed featherweight title vs. Heather Hardy.

Jake Paul Wins Ready 4 War Over Nate Diaz

Billed as Ready 4 War, YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul scored a victory over Nate Diaz Saturday night inside a boxing ring.

The bout served as the main event from the American Airlines Center in Dallas Texas, airing live on pay-per-view.

With wins already on his resume over the likes of Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren, Paul was able to build a big enough lead to hold off Diaz, scoring a decision victory.

Paul, coming off his first loss to Tommy Fury, dominated the opening rounds. He was able to constantly land the more powerful shots, staggering Diaz several times. After seeming to figure things out, Diaz got into a rhythm in the fourth, only to be knocked down in the fifth.

While impressive in the fact that he was able to knock Diaz down, the Stockton fighter continued to come forward, taking more punishment from Paul through the rest of the fifth and the sixth rounds.

The bout was originally scheduled for eight rounds, but Diaz asked for 10. He showed why, really getting after it over the final minutes of the fight. Using his volume striking, Diaz took control in rounds 8-10.

Of course, the question now turns to if these two will sign the contract to meet inside an MMA cage in the near future?

Amanda Serrano Dominates Heather Hardy, Retains Titles

Once again, Amanda Serrano showed why she is one of the top female boxers in the world, turning back the challenge of Heather Hardy. Serrano scored a decision victory, successfully defending her IBF, IBO, WBA, WBC and WBO featherweight titles in the process.

Serrano, who recently signed a contract to compete in the PFL Super Fight Series, is now 45-2-1 overall and has won her last three fights since a split decision loss to Katie Taylor. She has also twice now bested Hardy.

Former UFC fighters Chris Avila and Jeremy Stephens met in a six-round super middleweight contest, as Avila was declared the winner.

In other action, Ashton Sylve bested William Silva by knockout and Shadasia Green was declared the winner vs. Olivia Curry.

Alan Sanchez, Kevin Newman II, Jose Aguayo and Luciano Ramos were all winners.
