
As per a report, a former WWE “Attitude Era” star worked as a producer on this week’s AEW Dynamite. Details on this story, are below.
WWE Star Given A “Tryout” With AEW
According to PWInsider, Scotty 2 Hotty, also known as Scott Garland, worked last night’s AEW Dynamite as a producer. The taping took place in Albany, New York at the MVP Arena.
The former Attitude Era star was given a tryout as a backstage Coach/Producer in Tony Khan’s promotion. The report also reveals that Scott Garland will be with the company for at least the following several weeks.

Fans know him for his “the worm” dance antics in the ring, entertaining promos, high energy, and great squared circle action. During the Attitude Era, he was part of the Too Cool faction with the late Brian Christopher (also known as Grand Master Sexay) and WWE Hall of Famer, Rikishi.

Scotty 2 Hotty – His History With Wrestling
Garland wrestled with the WWE for 10 years from 1997 to 2007. During his tenure with the company, he became a Light Heavyweight Champion and was a two-time Tag Team titleholder (one run with Brian Christopher and another with Rikishi).
Still, Scott Garland also worked as a trainer at the company’s Performance Center. He began in 2016 and then asked for his release at the end of 2021.

After leaving the PC, he re-entered the ring, jumping into action on the indie circuit. He participated in the Game Changer Wrestling pay-per-view (PPV), Die For, which took place on January 1, 2022.
He faced “The Bad Boy” Joey Janela and lost. Still, Garland also has performed all around the globe since he’s been back in the squared circle, touring the U.S., UK, Canada, Germany, France, Ireland, and Italy.
