In the main event of ONE Fight Night 12, Superlek Kiatmoo9 scored a convincing finish over top contender Tagir Khalilov. The event took place from the Lumpinee Boxing Stadium in Bangkok, Thailand.
Right from the opening bell, Superlek asserted his dominance by landing powerful elbows and devastating kicks, keeping Khalilov on the defensive. As “Samingpri” struggled to find an answer, Superlek seamlessly mixed up his combinations and maintained a high pace throughout the bout.
Sensing an opportunity to wrap it up in round two, the Thai megastar intensified his assault, pressing forward and launching a series of powerful strikes. And recognizing the severe damage Khalilov had sustained, the referee quickly stepped in and called a halt to the action.

In the co-main event, Gary Tonon remained on the cusp of title contention with a victory over Shamil Gasanov. The former featherweight title challenger entered the match with Gasanov as the No. 2 ranked fighter in the division and showed why with exceptional grappling.
The previously unbeaten Gasanov wasted no time in aggressively shooting for takedowns while battering his opponent with various ground strikes. However, Tonon maintained his composure and found a way to turn the tide in the second round.
With exceptional technical precision, the American BJJ legend swiftly transitioned into a knee bar, forcing the Russian to tap.
