The final two challengers for the inaugural WWE World Heavyweight Championship are set. It’ll be Seth Rollins versus AJ Styles, but there’s a new report that states there is “hesitancy” in the company when it comes to placing the title around the waist of The Visionary’s waist.

WWE Hesitant On Giving Seth Rollins World Heavyweight Championship

Night of Champions is set to take place in Saudi Arabia on Saturday, May 27th. Seth Rollins will battle AJ Styles in an effort to become the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion.

Still, Seth is becoming a hot commodity lately. The superstar required his Monday Night RAW segments for the May 15th edition to be pre-taped, due to a prior commitment.

The talent was spotted on Marvel’s Captain America: New World Order set. According to reports, he’ll be a part of the villainous Serpent Society group in the movie.

WRKD Wrestling, a Twitter handle is reporting that while there are those in the company that are happy for him, it could create “second thoughts” about making him the new WWE World Heavyweight Champion. See the tweet above.

HHH announced the new title for RAW, as Roman Reigns, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion will be exclusive to SmackDown. The Red brand requires a high-tier title of its own.

Roman has a lighter schedule, so the WWE may want RAW’s champ to be more active on TV and pay-per-view (PPV) events. If the Visionary continues his pursuit of Hollywood and films, then he may not be as available as the WWE wants.

The talent defeated both Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest in a triple-threat match during the May 8th episode of RAW to move on to the semi-finals. He would then defeat Finn Balor that night, securing his “finals” spot at Night of Champions, taking place in about two weeks.
