Power Slap 2 Event Set For May 24 At UFC Apex

Power Slap 2

The next Power Slap event will take place May 24 from Las Vegas and the UFC Apex.

Power Slap 2 scheduled for May 24

The return of Power Slap is official, as the promotion will hold a second event on May 24. The card takes place from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

In the main event, “Wolverine” defends his heavyweight title against top contender Damien Dibbell. Wolverine is 12-3 overall with five knockouts, while Dibbell is 3-1 and has finished off of his opponents.

Coming off an impressive one-slap knockout over previously undefeated Darius the Destroyer, Wolverine makes his first title defense against The Bell. The Bell is a 21-year old slap fighting phenom who served as Wolverine’s assistant coach on Power Slap: Road to the Title and took out top heavyweight Duane Crespo at Power Slap 1 in the heavyweight No. 1 contender match.

Rematch set for co-main event spot

A rematch between Ayjay Hintz and Russell Rivero for the light heavyweight title will take place in the co-main event role.

Hintz, who is 4-1, is coming off the biggest match of his career with his victory over Vern “The Mechanic” Cathey. Rivero, with a record of 1-2, now gets his shot at redemption.

A third title fight is also planned as John Davis defends his middleweight title against No. 1 contender Wesley Drain. The first super heavyweight matchup is also set between Dayne Viernes and Slap For Cash.

Calling all the action will be Michael Bisping and Dan Hellie
