Big Respect For 1 Superstar

You love to hear this, and now we can discuss the reports about big respect for 1 Superstar.

The reports come in after her gutsy performance, which might just give this one away.

If, by chance, you still don’t know? Here are a few more hints, because I feel like teasing this one out.

One, she was just drafted to the main roster.

Two, she just relinquished the NXT Championship.

And if you don’t know yet…

Three, she may be heading for a faction reunion on RAW shortly.

Yes, the 1 Superstar who earned big amounts of respect recently is none other than Indi Hartwell.

But, why are we hearing about big respect for 1 Superstar?

Well…during her most recent, and now final NXT title defense, Hartwell worked a triple threat match.

During the match, Hartwell took an awkward bump where her leg bent in a bad way.

She was legit injured. Indi Hartwell was helped to the back, but refused to lose her title in that fashion.

The NXT Champion got off the trainer’s table and hobbled back out, finishing the match and retaining her title.

And that show of guts earned her big respect.

That report comes to us from the wonderful Wrestling Observer.

Once she was injured and in the back during the match, NXT officials were leaning toward calling an audible and crowning a new champion.

Hartwell would have none of it, not wanting to lose her title like that.

So, she sucked it up, barely able to walk, and finished the match to retain.

Such a show of determination and guts earned her big respect from many in the back.

In a boot as she dropped the NXT title, she is still obviously suffering from the injury, but she impressed a lot of people in the process.

Kyle O’Reilly’s Future

With Adam Cole and Roderick Strong busy in AEW…what is Kyle O’Reilly’s future there?

Yes, I made this a veiled shot at the future for the former Undisputed Era, as three of the four members are now in All Elite Wrestling.

Bobby Fish is the lone man not there, though he did work in the promotion briefly.

O’Reilly has been on the shelf for a bit now, so what might his future there look like?

In a word…it looks like a face run.

OK, that’s a few words, but the point remains.

A babyface turn seems likely for Kyle O’Reilly, and most fans could see this one coming a mile away.

When all were healthy, Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O’Reilly formed up Undisputed Elite, a revamped AEW version of their NXT stable.

The trio worked as heels at the time.

Cole and O’Reilly got injured and missed time, while Fish and the company parted ways.

Cole has since returned, but is now a babyface. Roderick Strong arrived at the end of April, saving Cole from an attack.

So if two former Undisputed Era members are working in AEW as faces…it’s likely just a matter of time for O’Reilly.

The Observer expects that, when he does return, O’Reilly will do so alongside Cole and Strong, revamping Undisputed Elite in the process.

With AEW having a trios championship, could that threesome have their collective eyes on gold?

It is entirely possible that could be in the plans eventually.

For now, it’s a matter of time before O’Reilly is cleared to return and back on television.

Between now and then, any time Strong and Cole are outnumbered…just keep watching, as I’d suspect an O’Reilly return and save to be imminent.
