2 Superstars Want A Big Celebrity Match

The concept of bringing in mainstream talent to work in the ring is nothing new, but some different Superstars want a big celebrity match for themselves.

WWE fans have a long history of taking in celebrity matches. Or, if nothing else, celebrity cameos.

Vince McMahon was a big fan of celebrities, especially at WrestleManias.

Most recently, WWE have enjoyed quite a few celebrities, specifically those getting in the ring and active.

Logan Paul and Bad Bunny are perhaps the two most impressive celebrity Superstars we’ve had thus far.

But, if you are paying attention, there’s one thing all of these celebrity talents have in common.

They are all men.

Two Superstars want to change that.

2 Superstars Want A Big Celebrity Match

Fair is fair, right?

Why should only the male Superstars have the big celebrity match fun.

The women in question? Current WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.

And they called out two massive media megastars in Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B.

The call out was done via an interview with Billboard.com.

How big is this, really?

Well…the women’s tag champs successfully defended their titles on SmackDown…and the announcers made mention of the big challenge issued.

So, here’s my quick thought on it.

As mentioned from the start, so many of the celebrities involved in matches have been and remain to be men.

I am sure I am blanking on some big women stars over the years, but most of those I remember WWE bringing in, did not work in the ring.

Like, the first one coming to mind was Snooki from Jersey Shore, who has been pushing for a comeback herself.

So, while there’s no way of knowing that Megan Thee Stallion or Cardi B would even want to work in a wrestling ring…it’s high time that WWE give the women’s Superstars a similar big celebrity match.

Of course, there are also fans (and Superstars) who are not interested in watching non-Superstars perform in the ring.

Even when some celebrities steal the show.
