Needing to show his stature in the featherweight division, Max Holloway rose to the occasion.
The former UFC champion scored a decision victory over Arnold Allen in the main event of UFC on ESPN Saturday night. The event aired live on ESPN from Kansas City.
Holloway swept the scorecards over Allen, earning his 24th career victory and first since a 2021 win over Yair Rodriguez.
Also on the main card, Edson Barboza, Azamat Murzakanov, Ion Cutelaba, Pedro Munhoz and Rafa Garcia were winners.
Barboza scored himself a first round knockout in the co-main event over Billy Quarantillo.
