Now is when WWE begins building new names up, and reports have one Superstar getting epic push. Plus, Drew McIntyre goes dark.

Superstar Getting Epic Push

This is the time of year for big moves, and reports have on Superstar getting an epic push.

Perhaps epic push is too much hyperbole for you, but work with me here.

With WrestleMania over and done with, some programs have run their course.

And, it’s the time of year where we start seeing new faces rise.

In other words, it’s time for some new pushes. And as far as pushes go, one Superstar could be getting an epic push.

What event is coming up, and is great for putting Superstars on a major upswing?

Money In The Bank, for one.

And, per Fight Fans, Raquel Gonzalez might be that Superstar getting an epic push in 2023.

Per the report, Triple H is high on Gonzalez and is expected to be in contention to claim this year’s women’s briefcase.

Of course, the Money In The Bank premium live event is still a few months out. Plenty can, and probably will, change between now and then.

One wild card, of course, is Vince McMahon and what he will or won’t have to say about anything.

Gonzalez just won the WWE Women’s Tag Team titles along with Liv Morgan. Clearly, she’s on the up and up.

According to the report, Gonzalez is in consideration for the Money In The Bank match, but several other interesting names were mentioned.

Names like Dakota Kai, Shayna Baszler and even Ronda Rousey. Outside of Rousey, any of those women could do great things with a briefcase opportunity.

The Money In The Bank briefcase is a truly epic push, when done right, for the right Superstar.

Will Raquel be the next one to take advantage?

McIntyre Goes Dark

In some interesting news, Drew McIntyre goes dark.

Or, rather, his social media profile goes dark.

The Scottish Superstar changed his his Twitter page to have nothing but a black square for a profile picture. He has also removed mentions of WWE and its shows.

There are a few theories here, some being better than others.

Recently, PWInsider reported some interesting-and not so great-news regarding McIntyre.

Specifically regarding his WWE contract status.

Per that report, McInytre’s contract is currently set to expire later in 2023. And, as it stands, WWE and the Superstar are far apart on a new deal.

The gap isn’t just term, whether it’s money or length. Reportedly, Drew McIntyre may be unhappy with his creative direction.

There is concern that the former champion may be aiming to let the deal expire and explore options outside of the company-like AEW.

Of course, some fans on social media have offered up their own theories.

In those instances, fans were a little more optimistic.

These fans are hoping that Drew’s current Twitter position is a hint at what’s to come.

After all, they remember seeing Liv Morgan and Seth Rollins do similar blacking out of social media, before making epic turns of their own.

Given the way things stand, it’s tough to say which direction it could be heading in.

Also adding to the intrigue, the Superstar is reportedly dealing with a medical issue.

Either way, given the banger he was involved with during WrestleMania 39, he should surely be due some time off.

But…will it be a lot of time off, never to return to WWE? Or is this going to be time off, leading to a big heel turn and a change in creative direction?

His latest run with WWE has been much better than his first one, and many fans are hoping it doesn’t come to an end in 2023.
