The first half of the 2023 PFL regular season was completed recently, as PFL 3 took place live in Las Vegas on ESPN Networks.
Reigning champion Sadibou Sy was among the winners, along with Olivier Aubin-Mercier spoiling the promotional debut of Shane Burgos.
Sy finished off Jarrah Al-Silawi in the second round in one of the welterweight bouts. Other division winners were Magomed Magomedkerimov, Naybi Lopez and Zach Juusola.
“Tonight the 2023 PFL Regular Season continued with action only the PFL can deliver to fight fans across the globe,” said PFL CEO Peter Murray. “Throughout the first half of the 2023 PFL Regular Season, our fighters across six divisions showcased unmatched passion and athleticism in their quests for PFL Playoff berths. I’m excited for the second half of our Regular Season as we get set for Atlanta.”
In the lightweight division, Aubin-Mercier scored a decision victory over Burgos. Natan Schulte, Clay Collard and Raush Manfio also picked up lightweight wins.
Denis Goltsov scored a first round finish over Cezar Ferreira in a heavyweight contest.
“The first half of the PFL Regular Season saw our fighters leave it all in the PFL SmartCage,” said PFL President Ray Sefo. “Through three Regular Season events we have seen champions continue their momentum and up and coming fighters take crucial steps towards the PFL Playoffs.”
PFL 4 takes place June 8 in Atlanta.
