Floyd Mayweather Interested In Training Francis Ngannou

Former boxing world champion Floyd Mayweather sees a new prospect in Francis Ngannou.

The former UFC heavyweight champion is looking to transition into boxing after departing from the UFC. And Mayweather recently told The Fight Guys that he is interested in working with him.

“I would love to work with [Ngannou], I would love to sign him to Mayweather Promotions,” Mayweather said. “He’s a very skilled guy…unbelievable…and if he wants to fight one of the top heavyweight guys, he should do it.”

Mayweather sees Ngannou having all the necessary tools to compete with the big guns of boxing’s heavyweight division.

“Absolutely. With his size, strength and power, anything can happen. With his power and his toughness he can make some noise in the heavyweight division.”
