Reports have been circulating for some time now that Drew McIntyre is quite unhappy with where he sits in the WWE. As he has been absent from the company since WrestleMania 39, many fans wonder if he’ll ever return.

Will Drew McIntyre Return?

Drew added fuel to the fire when he blacked out his profile on Twitter recently. He even took out all references to the WWE from his bio.

According to reports, the former WWE Champion has been out of commission since WM 39 due to health issues. With that said, Dave Meltzer provided an update on potential return recently during his Wrestling Observer update.

Drew McIntyre Return – Won’t Happen Anytime Soon

Meltzer reveals that Drew won’t return to a WWE ring for “at least a few more weeks”. This is based on what Dave heard over the weekend.

McIntyre has missed the past two episodes of Friday Night SmackDown. This, after losing his WrestleMania 39 triple threat match.

He faced Gunther and Sheamus for the Intercontinental Championship. In the end, Gunther retained.

Rumors have been buzzing that Drew is planning on leaving the WWE “just in time” to appear at AEW’s All In show. The event is taking place in August of this year, at Wembley Stadium in London, England.

As per reports, McIntyre’s WWE deal runs far past that date. Still, in the wrestling business, sometimes anything is possible.

Speaking of WWE contracts and possibly leaving the company, Becky Lynch caused some fan chirping recently. But when does her deal end?

Becky Lynch’s WWE Contract

The Man, Becky Lynch recently hopped on Twitter to tell fans that she wouldn’t be at the April 17th episode of Monday Night RAW. Much like Drew McIntyre, she also blacked out her Twitter and removed any WWE references.

A recent report helps fill in some gaps about Lynch’s situation. According to Fightful Select’s Sean Ross Sapp, Becks was confirmed to be a RAW this week, as of last week.

It also adds there are no “known” issues between the WWE and Lynch. It’s also being reported that The Man is dealing with a minor foot injury, which recently worsened.

She simply may need some time to heal her foot. But, it’s hard to tell.

Becky Lynch’s WWE Deal

Sapp also notes that Lynch signed a new WWE contract when she returned in 2021. The time she missed during her maternity leave was a non-factor.

The three-year agreement will expire in June 2024. According to Fightful sources, the two sides have not begun negotiations as of yet.

Sapp also states in the report that there are a number of deals set to expire in 2024. This is because the company signed several talents to four-year contracts, previously.

Becky originally signed with the WWE in April 2013 and debuted on NXT in June 2014. She made her official jump to the main roster on the July 13th edition of RAW in 2015.

This was during Stephanie McMahon’s famous “Women’s Revolution” promo, where she also introduced Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair to main roster fans. Lynch was always a fan favorite but rose to major popularity in 2018 after SummerSlam.

It was a feud between her and Charlotte that helped catapult her as one the biggest names in the company. This is when she also became “The Man” Becky Lynch.

Over the years, Becks has held the RAW Women’s title twice, the SmackDown Women’s Championship four times, and the Women’s Tag Titles. She’s a Triple Crown Champion and won the 2019 Royal Rumble.

Other accolades include a record-breaking reign as RAW Women’s Champion (399 days), and she was the inaugural SmackDown Women’s Champion back in 2016. Not to mention the fact that Becks was one of the first women to main event a WrestleMania.

Plus, she was the first and only woman to hold both the RAW and SmackDown titles, at the same time. Here’s hoping Becky Lynch stays put with the WWE for a long while.
