There’s a report of some bad luck for Strowman, meaning Braun may be out of action. And after RAW this week…what did Vince McMahon do to the show?

Bad Luck For Strowman

In the midst of a nice run, there’s a bit of bad luck for Braun Strowman.

Braun Strowman has admittedly had himself an interesting return to WWE.

Released during the waves of evil Nick Khan budget cuts during the pandemic, Strowman returned last year as one of Triple H’s earlier moves.

He’s been active enough, though he got himself into some hot water taking jabs at “flippy floppy” wrestlers like Ricochet.

And, just like that, things changed and Braun found himself teaming with…the very flippy floppy wrestler himself, Ricochet.

The best part? This pairing works quite nicely for what it is.

If you’d told me that, early into Strowman’s return, he’d be in a tag team with Ricochet…not sure I’d have believed you.

Yet here we are, and it’s mostly fun.

Well, in the midst of the tag team run, there’s a bit of bad luck for Braun Strowman.

According to PWInsider, it is believed that Braun Strowman sustained a concussion during the most recent SmackDown.

During the show, he and Ricochet battled the Viking Raiders…so surely some hard hitting action could have led to the injury.

As a result, Strowman has been pulled from shows for the near future.

The bad luck, of course, is that it’s a concussion…and there’s no telling how long he may or may not be out.

Head injuries have some of the harder time frames to project. One person might be symptom free and cleared in weeks, while someone else might take months.

Surely WWE will not rush Braun Strowman back prematurely.

That being said, the timing is certainly unfortunate.

For one, Strowman and Ricochet have been enjoying a good run.

But, more important, we’ve got the WWE Draft beginning this week, and after Monday…there’s also a new WWE World Heavyweight Championship to chase.

It remains to be seen if Strowman’s bad luck will keep him from taking part in that title chase…if he’s even on that particular brand.

What Did Vince Do?

It’s such a loaded question anymore, but let’s just ask…what did Vince do this time?

Specifically, it’s been reported that Vince McMahon did make some changes to this week’s RAW plans.

So, what exactly did Vince do?

Well…a lot, apparently.

A report from Fightful indicated that several segments wound up changed or cut completely.

Perhaps hardest hit were segments involving the Women’s Division.

The reports indicate that there was supposed to be a backstage segment between Piper Niven and Candice LeRae, leading to a match. We got neither.

In addition to that, there was another backstage segment cut that was set to feature Adam Pearce and an unknown female Superstar.

It is not shocking then to learn that the Women’s Division has some unhappy campers.

As eventful as this week’s RAW was, the women did not have enough screen time, and the cuts did them no favors.

For example, the match we had expected between Niven and LeRae became a tag match for the Street Profits and the Hurt Business.

The changes were not limited to those, of course.

Another example offered up was the match between Chad Gable and Mustafa Ali.

It was initially slated to be a short segment, but McMahon saw to it that the segment was slashed even more.

Here’s the craziest thing about the latest series of changes by Vince…

This time around, the show may not have suffered.

Where the RAW after WrestleMania felt like an utter disaster, this show did not.

The new title announcement didn’t hurt, but perhaps Triple H had enough input to save things from being another train wreck.

Hopefully things are corrected and the women do not remain unhappy.
