Many WWE fans might be wondering…where is Pat McAfee? And we have some new WrestleMania 39 matches coming.
Where Is Pat McAfee
In a word…we don’t know.
For right now, and per comments made by Wade Barrett, he and Michael Cole are entrenched as the announcing team for SmackDown. It sounds as though Barrett has assurances that will be the case for a while.
That does not mean we won’t see McAfee drop in, but it also sounded like we wouldn’t see Pat bounce Wade anytime soon.
Or, even Cole…but…I have a feeling Cole would step away for the right person.
With people wondering about him, the man himself decided to answer “where is Pat McAfee” and what is he up to.
A lot of wrestling chatter about me right now..
I think about wrestling everyday..that dream isn’t done.
My business is currently rather active and exigent…+ baby on the way…timing is everything
I still have MASSIVE plans for my journey to the WWE HOF someday.

It would be foolish of me not to point out that it is not far from WrestleMania. Having a pretty big star like McAfee work one or both nights in some capacity would not shock me.
Still, no match for the former NFL punter this year, but based on his own post, he is far from finished in WWE.
I know it’s been noted that he’s waiting and watching to see how any possible sale of WWE turns out. Perhaps he’s also biding his time for a return while the sale process is set to unfold?
Either way, I can’t wait to get him back, as I found him quite entertaining.
New WrestleMania 39 Matches Coming
As we are getting so close to the big event, let’s talk about some new WrestleMania 39 matches coming, shall we?
Courtesy of WrestleVotes:
I’m told 2 additional matches are coming to the WrestleMania card. Both Men’s & Women’s four way tags. The men’s lineup is currently scheduled as:
Street Profits vs. Alpha Academy vs. Viking Raiders vs. Braun Strowman / Ricochet.

That was discussed earlier on Friday, and on this week’s SmackDown, the “WrestleMania Showcase” matches were made official.
There will be qualifying matches to fill out each of the fatal fourway matches.
Positioning this match as a possible number one contender match could be interesting.
Of course, there have been some interesting twists at previous WrestleManias when we had multiple tag teams in matches, but I am not expecting some big surprises.
The women had the first qualifier. Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan beat Emma and Tegan Nox to punch their ticket to Hollywood.
We also know we’ve been told to expect a tag match involving Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler, and we don’t have one yet.
Could they be another team in the fatal fourway?
With time running out, I have to think we find out soon.
