There will be no rest for the UFC, as they jump from UFC 285 into another event this weekend.
Former champion Petr Yan takes on Merab Dvalishvili in a bantamweight collision live on ESPN+. The event is set from The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas.
Along with Yan vs. Dvalishvili, Alexander Volkov meets Alexander Romanov, Nikita Krylov takes on Ryan Spann and Ricardo Ramos faces Austin Lingo.
Yan has dropped his last two and three of four since winning 15 of his first 16 fights. He is a two-time UFC bantamweight champion, having lost it to Aljamain Sterling last year.
His opponent has not lost since 2018, winning each of his last eight fights, including a decision vs. Jose Aldo.
The Krylov-Spann fight was set to headline an earlier event this year, but Krylov fell ill the day of the bout and it was rebooked.
