UFC On ESPN Results: Cory Sandhagen Grinds Out Victory

Former UFC title contender Cory Sandhagen and ex-champion Holly Holm earned hard-fought decision victories at UFC on ESPN Saturday night.

The event aired live on ESPN and streamed on ESPN+ from the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas.

Sandhagen, a former interim bantamweight contender, scored a split decision over Marlon Vera in the main event. Two judges ruled in favor of Sandhagen, including a surprising 50-45 scorecard.

The win was the second straight for the 30-year-old since a loss to Petr Yan back in 2021 for the interim belt.

Holm claimed her first win since 2020 with a decision over Yana Santos. She improved to 15-6 overall and 3-1 in her last four.

Also on the main card, Nate Landwehr, Maycee Barber, Albert Duraev and Daniel Pineda were winners. Landwehr and Pineda picked up submission victories.

C.J. Vergara and Daniel da Silva earned “Fight of the Night” honors, with Landwehr and Pineda claiming “Performance of the Night” bonuses.
