UFC Fight Night Results: Merab Dvalishvili Stuns Petr Yan

Merab Dvalishvili earned another victory, this time over former UFC champion Petr Yan.

The bantamweight contest was the headline fight for UFC Fight Night live on ESPN+ from The Theater at Virgin Hotels in Las Vegas.

Over five rounds, Dvalishvili dominated Yan, sweeping the scorecards to move to 16-4 overall. He has now won each of his last nine fight, including the last two over UFC champs in Yan and Jose Aldo.

In the co-main event, Alexander Volkov earned an upset win over Alexander Romanov, stopping him in the first round.

Nikita Krylov bested Ryan Spann in a bout postponed from earlier this year, while Jonathan Martinez topped Said Nurmagomedov.

On the prelims, Davey Grant submitted Raphael Assuncao with an inverted triangle choke late in the third round.
