As we approach WrestleMania, certain things always come up-now it”s how Roman Reigns should have ended ‘Taker’s streak. Plus, Vickie Guerrero is done with AEW.

Reigns Should Have Ended ‘Taker Streak

While Brock Lesnar did it, one man involved now says that Roman Reigns should have ended ‘Taker’s WrestleMania streak.

No, it isn’t Brock Lesnar saying it, though he may agree.

The Undertaker himself has now gone on record as saying he thinks Roman Reigns should have ended The Streak.

Speaking with Ariel Helwani, Undertaker reminisced about the end of The Streak, and how it all came to be.

Mentioning that there were other suggestions in the years prior to WrestleMania 30 and Lesnar, ‘Taker wished someone else would have ended it.

Undertaker is ever the smart veteran, albeit now a retired one.

And he realized that for someone, ending The Streak could be seen as monumental as winning a title (almost).

To that end, someone as established as Brock Lesnar didn’t need that. Someone like Roman Reigns at the time?

Absolutely would have likely boosted his young and rising star power.

That’s the benefit of hindsight, of course.

Undertaker admitted he did not object to Brock Lesnar doing the honors. He just wishes Roman Reigns could have done it.

It’s hard to argue with that logic. Many fans-myself included-felt immediately that Lesnar didn’t need the accomplishment.

Someone young and up and coming absolutely would have benefited.

Reigns did, of course, take Undertaker out at a later WrestleMania, giving the Dead Man his second loss on the Grandest Stage of them All.

Vickie Guerrero Done

Shifting gears to the other major wrestling company, it seems Vickie Guerrero is done with AEW.

Specifically, they’ve told Vickie to stay home.

That tidbit comes from Guerrero herself-check the tweet:

Now, before we get our hopes up that perhaps Vickie will have something to say about Dom wishing Eddie was his dad…

Remember, it seems the Guerrero family isn’t fond of that…

According to Fightful, while Guerrero and AEW have mutually agreed to not continue their relationship once her contract expires…it does not expire until July.

Tony Khan has repeatedly shown an unwillingness to let talent be free earlier than needed.

Especially in a case where it seems quite likely there’d be immediate interest from WWE, he has no reason to grant anyone freedom before the contract expires.

So, unless there’s something else we’ve yet to hear about, it seems unlikely we will see Vickie interject herself into the Rey/Dom storyline.

At least, not until mid-Summer, maybe.

Then again, she’s not exactly a top tier talent, and her presence on AEW (or possibly eventually again, WWE) does not exactly move needles.

Maybe Khan would grant her an exception? It seems unlikely, considering he didn’t budge much with others recently…but stay tuned.
