Sarah Logan and Mia Yim are the latest former WWE talents to return to the company recently. Could Triple H bring JONAH back, next?

JONAH To Return To WWE?

In a recent Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talks about JONAH, also known as Bronson Reed in NXT, and a possible WWE return. According to the report, the company has offered a contract to the talent for a comeback.

Still, Meltzer notes that the WWE isn’t the only wrestling promotion interested in JONAH. Apparently, the wrestler has the option to sign with NJPW, too.

JONAH has worked quite a bit with NJPW lately and has been given a nice push by the company. However, it’s hard to say what the talent will ultimately decide as there are “pros” and “cons” to both organizations.

Will JONAH Decide To Return To The WWE?

The WWE released JONAH in August of last year. This was despite the fact that he had been given tryouts for a main roster call-up, during that time.

He was with the company for three years. He remained in NXT during his entire tenure with the WWE, where he enjoyed a North American Championship run.

Since his time away, he’s worked with NJPW and Impact Wrestling. He’s showcased his incredible in-ring abilities and scored some tremendous victories.

Over to AEW, it sounds like The Elite is finally making its way back to storylines. See details, below.

Update On The Elite’s AEW Status

For those who’ve been anxiously awaiting the return of The Elite, WNZ has good news. They’ll make their big return at this weekend’s AEW Full Gear event.

According to Fightful Select, while their faces weren’t seen on screen during AEW Dynamite this week, the Young Bucks were backstage. As per the report, the plan has always been for The Elite to return to action at the Full Gear event

The Death Triangle “hinted” at meeting the Elite this weekend. But it seems that Full Gear will be the trio’s official “return” to AEW.

The History Around Their Absence

For those that need a reminder, The Elite has not been a part of AEW programming since the All Out PPV in September. An altercation between Kenny Omega, the Young Bucks, CM Punk, and Ace Steel resulted in all men (including others backstage) to suspended.

CM Punk, unfortunately, made comments during the post-All Out media scrum, which triggered the incident. The Elite dropped their newly won Trios Titles and have not been seen since.

More good news is that Don Callis, Omega’s right-hand man, has been making his presence felt backstage at AEW. The expectation is for him to return, as well, and be by Kenny’s side.

The Full Gear PPV is being held this Saturday, November 22nd. The event will take place in Newark, New Jersey at the Prudential Center.

Not only will it mark the return of The Elite, but it will also be Saraya’s first wrestling match since she suffered her once “career-ending” injury, in December 2017. Should be an incredible show!
