Here’s A Detail You Missed On The Halloween Episode Of RAW

Brock Lesnar

We’ve been off for a few weeks, but we are back with another edition of “Things You Might Have Missed On Raw.” As WWE builds towards their annual Crown Jewel show, the Raw crew integrated a few spooky elements, fun surprises, and even a title change.

Let’s dive in.

Brock Lesnar Is The Only Human Who Can Wear The Punisher Logo And Look Cool.

I could go on and on about the Punisher logo being used by cops and wanna-be tough guys, but instead, let’s focus on a man who is the Punisher in all aspects, Brock Lesnar. In his face-off with Bobby Lashley, the Beast Incarnate wore a Megadeth T-shirt and Punisher belt buckler. And, like in all things, he looked like an absolute killer.

I love a massive brawl. I’m glad they’re used sparingly because nothing gets me more excited for a match than a locker room emptying donnybrook.

Roman Reigns Is Gonna Lose To Logan Paul, Isn’t He?

WWE loves a cultural moment. They’re part of the zeitgeist and are great at having their finger on the pulse. With Logan’s brother Jake becoming all the talk of the combat sports world with his victory over Anderson Silva,  WWE might see this as an opportunity to shock the world and make Logan Paul WWE champion. Would it be the craziest thing WWE has ever done? Yes. Would it make a lot of people furious? Also yes.

But with Reigns at the peak, there doesn’t seem to be much more to do with him. It wouldn’t surprise me to see the Bloodline’s continued disagreements cause a distraction that leads to Paul’s victory. It would allow Reigns to be off TV for a bit.

But then again, if they’re building for Reigns-Rock, Roman can’t lose any time before then, even if it’s via shenanigans.

Riddle Has The Costume Of The Night

Riddle dressed up like his new best friend’s brother, Ezekiel.

Alpha Academy recreating the infamous Chippendales sketch from SNL was pretty great too.

WWE was a little light on costumes this year, with R-Truth being the only other on-theme Superstar.

Johnny Conspiracy

After months of speculation, fans wondered why Dexter Lumis was stalking the Miz. Johnny Gargano claimed to have inside information. According to Johnny Wrestling, Dexter Lumis’ feud with the Miz was an INSIDE JOB!

The theory goes that after WWE fired Lumis, he fell on hard times. And so The Miz, always starved for attention, hired Lumis as his “stalker,” thus generating attention for The A-Lister.

The segment itself was goofy, with Byron Saxton doing his best Scott Pelley impression and Johnny Gargano playing all the parts in the reenactment.

I’m glad there’s movement on this feud. Though now it seems less bout Dexter and more about Johnny Gargano eventually facing off against The Miz.

New Tag Team Champs

I’m happy for Asuka and Alexa Bliss, but this feels more like a group of convenience than anything else. I don’t quite understand why they’re together other than that they’re both good guys. They have good chemistry, and the match was perfect, but it feels like a transitional championship. The women’s division continues to be dominated by ad-hoc teams.

Final Thoughts

Are you excited about Crown Jewel? I wish I could say I was, but I don’t like these shoe-horned events, even if it is a pretty stacked card.
