Combate Global will get into the Halloween spirit with a special event live on Paramount+ Sunday evening.
“Horror in La Jaula” features a bantamweight main event between Ismael Zamora and Anas Azizoun. The event takes place from Miami, Florida and streams live beginning with the first fight at 10 p.m. ET.
The 22-year-old Zamora of Mexico City, Mexico has been on fire in 2022, racking up four straight victories in La Jaula, the Combate Global competition cage, in a span of just five months. All of the wins came by way of (T)KO or submission and inside of two rounds.
At 24 years of age, Azizoun, born and raised in Saint-Étienne, France, is recognized as one of the top pound-for-pound kickboxers in the world with a near-unblemished record of 19-1-1 in the sport, and a super aggressive striking style that earned him his nickname.
Other scheduled bouts include Melissa Amaya vs. Alitzel Mariscal, Landry Ward vs. Gianluca Rocca, Fabia Sintes vs. Enzo Perez and Roger Blanque vs. Carlos Mascorro.
