
Former UFC fighter Elias Theodorou has passed away following a battle with cancer.
According to multiple reports, Theodorou was battling stage 4 liver cancer. He was 34 years old.
During his MMA career, Theodorou competed 22 times, going 8-3 in the UFC. He was crowned The Ultimate Fighter winner and held victories over the likes of Eryk Anders, Dan Kelly and Sam Alvey.
Theodorou started work as an advocate for the use of medicinal marijuana in combat sports after retiring. He also served as a “ring boy” for Invicta FC.
