Yair Rodriguez earned the win Saturday in the main event of UFC on ABC.
Rodriguez bested Brian Ortega after Ortega suffered a shoulder injury. The card took place from the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York.
The injury ended the planned five-round featherweight fight in the first.
In the co-main event, Amanda Lemos scored a second round submission over Michelle Waterson. Lemos locked in a guillotine choke less than two minutes into the round.
Li Jingliang finished Muslim Saikhov in the second round, while Matt Schnell earned a submission vs. Su Mudaerji.
Shane Burgos and Lauren Murphy each earned wins on the main card. Burgos bested Charles Jourdain and Murphy topped former champion Miesha Tate.
Punahele Soriano, Ricky Simon, Bill Algeo, Dustin Jacoby, Dustin Stoltzhus and Emily Ducote picked up wins on the prelims.
